Quincy farmers market

Where farmers and artisans cultivate community.

2023: My love for Farmers markets stems from my deep appreciation for fresh produce, handmade crafts, and the sense of community engagement they offer. It brings back fond memories of childhood in Colombia where farm stands and artisans line the streets. This passion drove me to develop a relationship with the managers of my local farmers market and learn of their interest in modernizing and completely re-designing the market’s website.

TinyTribe

Social networking app for parents to find events and support groups, form connections and share experiences.

In 2022 I became a first time parent. I felt a sense of overwhelming love and new responsibility. In the hase of sleepless nights and endless diaper changes, I sought to give my child the best possible upbringing and with that, realized the importance of fostering a sense of belonging for my child and having a strong support network and community. I embarked on a journey to find meaningful events and develop connections with other mothers locally. Out of this came Tiny Tribe App.

DEMANO EN MANO.png

De mano en mano

E-commerce app to order stunning bouquet of fresh flowers delivered straight to your loved one’s door.

In 2019 I moved full time to the United States. Busy juggling courses and work while hundreds of miles away from friends and family, I searched for a way to bridge that distance and show love and appreciation. The idea for De Mano en Mano flowers app was born. Flowers have a universal language that transcends borders, conveying emotions and well-wishes even from afar.

Colombia

Platform that showcases and celebrates the unique and diverse cuisine of Colombia.

By 2021 it was a year into the pandemic. I’d been unable to travel back to Colombia due to closures and missed the tastes, sounds, and feel of Medellin. Cooking became a way to reconnect with my heritage and preserve the flavors of home. The sizzle of arepas on the griddle, the aroma of sancocho simmering on the stove, and the rhythmic dance of empanada dough between my fingers transported me back to the bustling streets of Medellin.
